Music producer

Alex Gárgolas

Alex Gárgolas started in 1995 with $300 and one idea: to give Puerto Rico's underground a voice. Thirty years later he is one of reggaeton's most influential producers and executives. His Gárgolas compilation series defined an era, and he played a key role in launching Nicky Jam, Don Omar, Farruko and Randy. His own songs feature Daddy Yankee, Zion & Lennox, Trebol Clan, Don Omar, Nicky Jam and Randy Nota Loca. In 2021 he returned with Gárgolas Forever, his first studio album with Rimas Entertainment, featuring Rauw Alejandro, Arcángel, Eladio Carrión, Farruko and Mora, among many others. He has a veteran's ear and the instinct of someone who is always looking for what comes next.
